About Me

Hi, I'm Giovanni Orlando — a Solutions Architect and Security Engineer with a passion for building secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet user needs.

My Journey

I graduated from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, and I've been immersed in the software industry since 2015.

Currently, I work as a Solutions Architect at  ITDG, where I design and implement cloud-native solutions that help organizations scale securely and efficiently. My work spans the entire spectrum of the software lifecycle — from requirement analysis, API design, and Infrastructure as Code to container orchestration and performance optimization.

Beyond the Code

When I'm not designing solutions or writing code, you'll find me pursuing my other passions. I love writing blog posts where I share insights about technology, cloud architecture, and lessons learned from real-world projects. Photography is another creative outlet for me — there's something satisfying about capturing moments and creating memories.

I also enjoy bowling as a hobby, and I follow the stock market where I hold shares in Apple, Ford, and Amazon. I find the intersection of technology and business fascinating.

Personal

I'm happily married to Zulymer Amanda, who supports me in all my endeavors. Together we have our loving son, which motivates me to do my best every day.
